I fail to see how you all can call on "god" to help, and to mumble a meaningless prayer, when all those inocent people ALREADY have died a tragic death in the hands of these evil terrorists, when neither of those acts will bring any of my loving companions back to life. Lets stop the useless praying and stop the meaningless attempts to pass on our responsibility to some religious entity, because it was the love of Alla (or God) that prompted these dirtbags to do what they did in the first place. lets take responsibility for our own lives, for once. We owe it to our dead commrads, and to our children, to start living in THIS century, and stop worshiping distant, past icons.

I LOVE New York
Our hearts and prayers go out to all of New York but especially those who have lost their lives and their families and loved ones.
I am a displaced New Yorker and feel like I have lost a part of myself.

| Some 40 years ago, in another city and country,an American, John Firzgerald Kennedy, proclaimed, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Today, a French Canadian says, "I am a New Yorker." May God bless all, especially them who have given and continue to give all they can to alleviate the suffering of my fellow citizens. |
